Well, we made it.
Another school year in the books. For many, it's graduation season—the moment when our kids turn the tassel and step into their next chapter. Whether they’re heading off to college, trade school, or just taking a much-needed breather to figure things out, we celebrate them—and, let’s be honest, we celebrate us too.
They’ve worked hard:
All those hours studying, juggling sports, late-night projects, school dances, and group chats that were more chatting than group work. They've endured the ups and downs of high school or college, and they’re walking away with memories they’ll never forget—prom, driver’s tests, senior nights, championship games, scholarships, honors, and probably a few caffeine-fueled all-nighters.

We were right there with them—rushing forgotten sports equipment to practice, becoming last-minute tutors, and Googling things like “how to do high school math without crying.” We cheered from the sidelines, stayed up way too late with them, and worried way too much (and still do).
And for our college students—whew.
Remember that first year? The nerves, the “how do I do laundry?” texts, the awkward roommate situations, and the brave leap into adulting? Some loved it. Some called home every day. But they all pushed through. They studied, they grew, they found their people—and hopefully their passion. Meanwhile, parents dealt with the empty nest, the quiet rooms, and the realization that just because they’re out of the house doesn’t mean we stop worrying. (Spoiler: it gets worse.)
Now here we are.
Caps are flying, futures are calling, and the next big thing is just around the corner—first jobs, new adventures, and a lot of “what now?” moments. So yes, we celebrate them. But let’s also take a minute to celebrate us. We did the thing. We raised humans. And they’re out there in the world—navigating it, stumbling through it, and shining in it.
