38 Years in Jewelry—and Still Sparkling with Curiosity
After 38 years in the jewelry industry, I’ve come to truly appreciate that every piece tells a story—and so does every career. Mine has been shaped by decades of learning, hands-on experience, evolving styles, and most importantly, the incredible people and customers I’ve had the privilege to work with and learn from along the way.
From the early days of learning how to sell and understanding the craft, to navigating changing markets, shifting customer expectations, and constant industry innovation—this journey has been anything but dull. Jewelry may be timeless, but the way we design, create, and connect with people is always evolving. That’s what’s kept me passionate about this work: there’s always something new to learn, a fresh challenge to tackle, and another story to help tell through our craft.
Outside the world of fine jewelry, I’ve always been drawn to the great outdoors. My husband of 41 years and I love to hike, bike, and seek adventure. Over the years, we’ve explored many of America’s stunning National Parks. Whether it’s climbing the red rocks of Utah or breathing in the mountain air in Glacier, these journeys have deepened my appreciation for beauty, detail, and nature’s own artistry.
Another joy in my life? Being a grandparent. I now have three wonderful grandchildren—our newest arriving just this past September 2025! There’s something incredibly special about watching them discover the world with wide eyes and boundless curiosity. It reminds me why we do what we do—not just for ourselves, but to leave something meaningful behind.
As I reflect on nearly four decades in this industry, I feel incredibly lucky to still be doing what I love. Here’s to the stories still waiting to be told—and the adventures still to come, both in work and in life.
